Hi Everyone. Lets Talk!
Every business has a different way of operating. That is due to the different styles of management. These include...
Autocratic management style.
Persuasive management style.
Paternalistic management style.
Democratic management style.
Consultative management style.
Transformational management style.
Laissez-faire management style.
Visionary management style.
This is a very broad list due to the vast amount of ideas that people consider a business. However, most communication and financial oriented companies gear themselves toward...
Autocratic: Authoritarian and direct approach.
Democratic: Multi level contribution and engagement.
Laissez-faire: Freedom and trust for Individual decision making
Transformational: One vision held by all and overall evolution.
One management quote that speaks to me in particular was stated by George S. Patton
"Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do, and they will surprise you with their ingenuity."
Patton's ideology is important for the evolution and success of all companies. If you tell people how to do things, you are closing the company off to new perspectives and innovation. Instead, managing by telling people what to do encourages creativity and individual problem solving.

I read the post on different ways managers lead teams and how styles like autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire shape how a business runs and people work together. In my first group work at school I once had to affordable product description writing for our class project and that made me see how clear roles help everyone understand what to do. It helped me see that the right management style can make teamwork easier and more fun.
