Hi Everyone!
One of my biggest passions is hockey, so let's talk about the Playoffs!
The NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs consist of 16 teams from four different divisions. Metropolitan, Atlantic, Central and Pacific. The Playoffs hold 4 rounds where each team advances by starting with a team in their division, and then working up. Each team plays each other best of 4 up to 7.
Now that the playoffs are underway and bets have been made, It is time to debrief and chat about all the ways this could play out.
Fresh off of a record breaking season, and having almost everyone's “realistic” vote for the winner, unfortunately the Boston Bruins could not hold out against the Florida Panthers in game 7.
Similarly, In Disappointing fashion, my own home team, the New York Rangers could not hold out against the New Jersey Devils in what many people like to call “The Battle of the Hudson”. After a hard fought series, The Rangers top guys, Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Adam Fox and Artemi Panarin had nothing more to give, leaving star goaltender, Igor Shesterkin, at the forefront of a 4-0 game seven loss.
Now, Only 8 teams remain. Some believe that the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars have all the star power they need to make it all the way, however, The newest NHL team, The Seattle Kraken, silently swept last year's Stanley cup winner, The Colorado Avalanche. The Kraken will remain a central thought in my mind as it should all of yours.
